What started as a perfectly fine—aka boring—track house got a serious makeover. By mixing modern updates with carefully hunted antiques, we turned it into a homey, colonial-inspired space that somehow feels like a fun space for a serious cook.

It’s got the best of both coasts: the relaxed, light-filled vibe you expect from the West Coast, plus enough classic East Coast charm to remind the homeowner where she came from.
